About the Speaker: Leslie Cook, HDI Director of Membership
Leslie Cook has been with HDI for more than ten years. She currently serves as the director of membership at HDI.
As the director of membership, Leslie is the chief member advocate, bringing many years of member support and relationship-building expertise to the role. Leslie’s strategic responsibilities include increasing the value that HDI memberships provide, expanding the reach of membership, and growing the overall community. She works closely with members to maintain open lines of communication, represent member needs and issues, and build strong relationships between HDI’s members, chapters, and officers. She is an HDI representative on HDI’s Customer Technical Support Advisory Council and Member Advisory Board, and is a Franklin Covey Certified Facilitator for Leading at the Speed of Trust.
Leslie is a seasoned marketing professional with a dynamic background in advertising, communications, program development, event management, public relations, branding, marketing research, and new business development. Leslie received her BA in public relations from Texas Tech University and has served in various marketing roles for Aspen Systems, Inc., Alternative Technology, Zight Corporation (formerly Colorado MicroDisplay), and Fabless Semiconductor Association.
